You’re welcome to arrange your own accommodations at one of the many hotels or rentals throughout Playa del Carmen. While this option offers flexibility, please note that you won’t have access to Xcaret Parks, Hotel Xcaret Arte or Hotel Xcaret Mexico properties, including pools, restaurants, or group activities. Additionally, airport transportation and transportation to the wedding venue will not be provided, so you will need to make your own arrangements.

If you are planning to stay at our recommended Xcaret Hotels, yes, we ask that you please book your stay through our travel agents’ website by clicking on the ‘BOOKING’ tab. Our travel agent, Kevin, is here to ensure you receive the group booking discounted rate, as well as answer any and all travel/ booking questions you may have and to make this trip as stress-free as possible!

If you’re booking through our recommend Xcaret Hotels, yes, there is a 3-night minimum required to stay. Please book your stay for at least 3 nights between July 2nd and July 7th, 2025, using the link provided in the ‘BOOKING’ tab. This will secure our special group rate and allow you to participate in all wedding festivities. The wedding itself will be on Saturday, July 5th.

We’ve arranged a special group rate exclusively for our guests, offering incredible value and convenience. This includes unlimited food and drinks (yes, alcohol too!), access to all Xcaret Parks (including: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoximilco, Xenses Insomnia, and Xenotes, and more!), round-trip transportation to and from the airport, and travel to and from the wedding venue.

For guests staying at Xcaret Hotels, please share your flight info with our travel Agent via the ‘BOOKING’ tab so they can arrange for your complimentary transport between Cancun Airport and the resort.

For guests not using our travel agent, please note airport transportation and transportation to the wedding venue will not be provided, so you will need to make your own arrangements.

You’ll need a valid passport in order to travel to Mexico. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your travel dates or you may be denied boarding or entry upon arrival.

We're keeping our celebration intimate and have limited space at our venue. We hope you understand that we can only accommodate those guests specifically named in the invitation.

Dress to impress! We're setting the tone for a black and white evening, and we encourage our guests to embrace the theme with all-black or black-and-white attire. Think beach resort elegance!

Ladies: Please refrain from wearing all white or champagne tones (bridesmaids color). Midi or floor-length dresses are preferred. Due to uneven terrain at the ceremony/reception, we advise against stilettos and recommend comfortable footwear—chunky block heels, kitten heels, or stylish flats .

Gents: Black suits, blazers, or tuxedos are perfect for the occasion. We recommend breathable fabrics like cotton or linen to ensure your comfort, paired with a classic white or black dress shirt.

Note: Our ceremony location involves a short, picturesque walk through the beautiful grounds of Xcaret Park. Please keep this in mind when selecting your shoes!

The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be in a semi-indoor space in a palapa-covered cenote. Although it will be July in Mexico, the wedding will take place in the evening after the sun goes down, so you can expect cooler and more comfortable temperatures.
